It is important to monitor the number of COVID-19 hospitalisations and number of critical cases to monitor the severity of disease in Vanuatu and to assess if the health system is under strain.
All hospitals and health clinics with in-patient facilities should report the number of hospitalised cases each day to the Vanuatu National Surveillance Unit.
The hospital surveillance officer, or another nominated person, should complete this form by 8am each day. Please complete the report even if your hospital has no hospitalisations.
