The Ministry of Health had administered the Sinopharm vaccines second dose to 104 people including the honorable Prime Minister Bob Loughman Weibur.
The Prime Minister has been vaccinated three weeks ago with other Government dignitaries and Chinese nationals.

Administration of the second vaccine dose allowed them to complete their Vaccination course. It is important to get the second dose to reinforce immune response to virus.
While first dose helps the body to recognise the virus and prepares the immune system to fight off the infection, the second dose strengthen that immune response.
Vaccination was only for people who had their first Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccination during the Sinopharm vaccine launched last month.
The Ministry of Health will be administering Sinopharm Vaccine every Fridays each week starting next week at the National Convention center.
Technical team from the Ministry of Health made this decision due to demand coming from people wanting to get vaccinated with Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine.
People who wish to get vaccinated with Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine can go to National Convention Centre on Fridays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Sinopharm has been use in over 50 countries, with tens of millions of doses having been given world. Over 100 million doses have been ordered from outside China the results being that the product forms a major part of vaccination programmes in many countries.
