The Simulation Exercise that was planned for 21-23 October 2021 has been postponed. New dates for the SimEx will be confirmed shortly.
Please note that no widescale lockdown is currently planned. The SimEx will be conducted in selected locations of Port Vila that will include 5 shops, 1 church, 1 school and 3 simulated community isolation centers. Those locations to be included in the SimEx will be advised in advance. No interruptions to interisland transport are anticipated at this stage.
All scenarios used will be theoretical. The public is encouraged to avoid the spread of false or misleading information and rumours.
